Classic Chocolate Fudge Cake
(Basic Cake Decorating Class Recipe)
2/3 cup oil
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 eggs
2 cups sugar
2-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 cups water
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
In a large mixing bowl, stir together cocoa and oil until smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth. Grease two (8-9 inch) pans and line bottoms with parchment paper. Spread evenly into two pans. Bake 25-30 minutes or until top springs back when touched in the center.
