Taco Soup

 
TACO SOUP
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (14.5) cans pinto beans
1 (14.5) can kidney beans
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 quart diced tomatoes
1 (4 oz.) can diced chilies (optional)
1 package taco seasoning
 
Brown ground beef with onion.  Add remaining ingredients.  Heat to a boil.  Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.  Serve with tortilla chips, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro, and/or diced avocado.
