What do you do when you hate the taste of brownies from a mix, but don't have all the ingredients or time to make them from scratch? You doctor a mix.
Make the brownies according to the directions on the box. If you like a more cake-like brownie, add an extra egg.
Now get doctoring. To the batter, mix in 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup,
and 1/2-1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Bake according the package directions.
Doctored Brownie Mix
1 box, brownie mix &
ingredients listed on back of box
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1/2-1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Make mix according to package directions. Add an extra egg if you like a cake-like brownie. Stir in chocolate syrup and chocolate chips. Bake according to package directions.
