BROWNIES WITH COOKIE DOUGH FROSTING

Who doesn't love to eat cookie dough? In my family half of the cookie dough is snitched before it can be baked into cookies. YUM! This recipe takes a yummy brownie and tops it with delicious (but safe to eat) cookie dough. These are one of my all-time favorite brownies.
BROWNIES WITH COOKIE DOUGH FROSTING
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1-1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Melt chocolate chips and cool slightly. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in melted chocolate. Combine flour, and baking soda; add to batter. Stir in walnuts. Spread into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 350 for 16 -22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool.
FROSTING:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 c granulated sugar
3 tbs milk
1 cup flour
1 cup chocolate chips
Cream the butter, sugars, and milk together. Mix in the flour until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Spread on top of cooled brownies. Keep any left overs in the refrigerator.
