This is a great recipe to make in your crock-pot. Just start it in the morning and let it simmer in the crock-pot all day on low and by the time dinner rolls around it'll be ready. All you'll have to do is cook some noodles.

1 onion, grated

3 garlic cloves, grated

1 lb hamburger

1 lb Italian sausage

4 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes, crushed in blender

1 6 oz tomato paste

1 cup plus 6 oz water

2 tsp salt

1 tsp seasoned salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 tsp each: basil, oregano, Italian seasoning, parsley, sugar

Brown hamburger with onions and garlic. Drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer until desired thickness is achieved or at least an hour, before serving over your favorite noodle.

NOTES: The longer it simmers the better it tastes. This sauce also tastes better the next day.
