This cake is still my favorite! -I know, I have a lot of favorites. I love the ooey gooey rich cake and crunchy toffee pieces. MMMmmm.
BETTER THAN 'you know what' CAKE
1 box chocolate cake mix (I like Devils food)
(water, oil, eggs)
1 bottle caramel ice cream topping
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 small container whipped topping
4 chocolate toffee candy bars
Prepare cake according to box directions. When finished cooking, while cake is still hot, using a fork, poke holes all over cake. Pour can of sweetened condensed milk over top to cake. Pour caramel topping over cake (reserve 1/4 cup for top). Cover and refrigerate several hours (over night is best). Frost cake with whipped topping and sprinkle with crushed toffee candy bars. Serve and enjoy!
Prepare cake according to box directions.
Pour into a 9x13" greased baking dish and bake according to time listed on your cake mix box.
Once the cake is done, remove from oven and using a fork, immediately poke holes all over the cake.
Drizzle with sweetened condensed milk
Don't worry, use the whole can, the cake will eventually soak everything up.
Now drizzle 3/4 of a jar of caramel sauce over the cake. It should look like the cake is swimming in goodness. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Frost with whipped topping and sprinkle with crushed chocolate toffee candy bars.
