Chocolate Marbled Cookies (step-by-step) Repost

We love these soft, chocolately cookies at our house.  My friend, Kristi showed me how to make them eons ago when I only had 3 kids and we've been baking them ever since.
I originally posted the recipe here back in 2009, but decided to repost it with step-by-step instructions.

CHOCOLATE MARBLED COOKIES

1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup cocoa
4 T butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 t vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup powdered sugar

Cream together oil, cocoa, butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour. Roll into 1-in balls and roll into powdered sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-9 minutes or until set. Do not over bake!

Remember this cutie?

STEP-BY-STEP

To a mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup oil

 3/4 cup cocoa

4 tablespoons of softened butter

2 cups sugar

 4 eggs

2 tablespoons of vanilla.  Mix these ingredients together until you get a nice chocolate batter.

Then add 2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking powder and a half teaspoon of salt
(please ignore the freakishly blue tint of this photo-I think Alien's had something to do with it.)

Mix these into the chocolate batter until incorporated.

Measure 1 cup of powdered sugar into a separate bowl.

Take a tablespoonful ball of cookie batter, it will be very soft and sticky, and drop it into the powdered sugar.

 Make sure it's covered completely

 Like this

Place cookies onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 degrees for 8-9 minutes or until set.  Be careful not to over bake these.
