Knock Your Socks Off Cookies

These cookies are the bomb diddly, or in other words, they are simply amazing!
Chock-full of peanut butter cups, chocolate chunks, and candy pieces, they just might knock your socks off.
Since tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day, I used leprechaun green m&m's but regular is just fine.  Here's the Recipe.

Knock Your Socks Off Cookies

1 cup butter flavored shortening
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup peanut butter
2-1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
3-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 tablespoons baking soda
2 tablespoons salt
2 cups peanut butter cups, cut in half
1 cup chocolate coated candy pieces (m&m's)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Cream shortening, butter, and peanut butter until nice and smooth.  Add sugar and beat until well incorporated. Mix in eggs, milk and vanilla extract. Mix in the baking soda and salt.  Add the flour until just incorporated. Fold in candy, and chocolate chunks. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until slightly brown.

STEP-BY-STEP
 Add shortening, butter
and peanut butter to a large mixing bowl.  Cream until nice and smooth.
Add sugar and beat until well incorporated.  You want the fats and the sugar to become one.

Now stir in the 2 eggs
 the milk
and the vanilla.
Mix in the baking soda and salt.
and then add the flour, mixing until just incorporated.
 Fold in peanut butter cups
 chocolate coated candy pieces
 and the chocolate chunks.
Drop by rounded tablespoon fulls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until slightly brown.
