CREAMY SWISS CHICKEN



. . . one of my favorite dinners to serve when we have company over.

CREAMY SWISS CHICKEN
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 slices of Swiss cheese (can substitute mozzarella)
6 slices of thinly sliced ham
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup water
2 cups seasoned stuffing mix
1/2 cup butter, melted

Arrange chicken in a 9x13" baking dish. Top each chicken breast with a slice of ham and then cheese.  Mix soup and water together and pour topped chicken.  Sprinkle on stuffing evenly.  Drizzle butter over the top.  Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until done.

NOTES:  I like to bake my at 300 for 2-3 hours.  This makes the chicken more tender.
