Bowtie Pasta Salad

I love this salad. It is loaded with all sorts of yummy stuff.
We had a big family get-together this past Saturday, and this is what I made for a light lunch. This is also my staple for bridal/baby showers. It quick easy and can be made the day before.
BOWTIE PASTA SALAD
4 cups cooked chicken, cubed
4 tbs chopped green onion
2 cups bowtie pasta (uncooked)
8 oz. Hidden Valley Coleslaw dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 tsp black pepper
dash of Thyme
pinch of ginger
1 cup celery chopped
2 cups grapes, halved
1 can pineapple tidbits, drained
2 cups diced apple
1/2 cup slivered almonds
Cook pasta according to package directions. Combine dressing, mayo, pepper, thyme, and ginger together in a large bowl. Add rest of ingredients and mix till well coated.
Serves: 10-12 +

  1. Thanks for posting this recipe! We put craisins in it and call it "Bunco Craisin Salad" 'cause we have it every time we play Bunco!
