1-HOUR CINNAMON ROLLS

These seriously take one hour to make from start to finish! And of course they're delicious.
One-Hour Cinnamon Rolls1-2/3 C warm water
½ C oil
1/4 C sugar
2T yeast
½ T salt
Mix oil and sugar and salt together. Then add the water, and the yeast. Let Rest for 10 minutes. Then add:
1 egg, beaten
5+/- C flour, enough to make a soft dough
Roll out half of dough into a rectangle. Spread half of filling on
Filling: 4 T cinnamon
3/4 C sugar ---Mix all filling ingredients togther
1 stick melted butter.
Roll up and cut into rolls. Place on baking pan. Repeat with second half. Turn on oven to 425. Let rolls sit for 10 minutes. Bake for 10 minutes. Let sit for 10 minutes and frost.
Frosting: 1/3 C butter
1/4 C milk,
1-1/2 tsp. Vanilla,
4-1/2 +/- powdered sugar
1-2 tbs pancake syrup
NOTES: Guess I better tell you that I don't flour my countertop. I either use a silicone mat or Pam sprayed lightly. I also use a long piece of thread to cut my rolls. Slided the thread underneath to size desired, make an X on top with thread and pull through. Super easy and FAST!
